A CN locomotive crosses Kampo Rd. as it heads northeast via a remnant of the former C&NW main line, now relegated to a passing siding, at Neenah, WI, on 4 Jul. '23. The former SOO main line, also in use by CN, runs parallel along the other side of the train. The C&NW rails were laid in 1861, the SOO rails were laid by the WC in 1882. An office building at 55 Jewelers Park Dr., is partially visible to the right. It was built for Plexus in 1987, they vacated it after they moved into their new office building in downtown Neenah. |
